Successfully navigate challenges and influence across multiple stakeholders.Exhibit sound leadership qualities amongst competing priorities and agendas while leading, developing and motivating a cross functional team of internal employees and external service providers.Provide regular direction and feedback on performance, cross training and cross coverage, annual performance reviews, recommendations for promotions and salary changes, training and development, hiring and termination decisions, etc.Lead a mix of direct and matrix reports in the daily facilities management operations. Actively engage with other company locations and external organizations to identify, leverage and adopt facilities and EH&S best practices.Ensure facility compliance with OSHA, USDA, AAALAC, FDA, EPA and other health/safety related regulations.Ensure optimum staffing structures across the portfolio balancing coverage and performance needs with the delivery of service excellence and financial resources.Identify and recommend action plans to drive process improvements.Work closely with global procurement to maximize the value from our third party spend. Lead the oversight of contract and vendor service, manage key relationships, and monitor vendor performance.Lead the implementation of key site facilities initiatives including CMMS, PM/CM, site EH&S, energy, and asset lifecycle management programs.Working with the global facilities organization develop and execute a multi-year Facilities Management Master Plan which identifies and manages risks and opportunities across the facilities scope.Lead the facilities management team to develop and implement a proactive approach to drive continuous improvements and a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.Operations Leadership: Lead a mix of direct and matrix reports to deliver the technical and non-technical facilities management services across a site of 1100 colleagues and 315K Square Feet.
